Method 1: You restart DNS client to fix “This site can’t be reached”

1.You press Windows Key + R then you type “services.msc” and hit enter to open Services window.

3.You right-click on DNS Client and select Restart.

Method 2: You change IPv4 DNS Address to fix “This site can’t be reached”

1.You right-click on the Network icon in the system tray and  youclick on “Open Network and Sharing Center.

2.You click on your active Network Connection and then you click Properties.

3.Inside the Wi-Fi Properties windows youselect “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IP)” then you click Properties.

4.You checkmark on “Use the following DNS server addresses.

5.You type the following address in the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server:

  • 8.8.8.8
  • 8.8.4.4

6.You checkmark on “Validate settings upon exit” then click OK and you click Close.

7. You go and check again website you want to visit.

Method 3: You try resetting TCP/IP to fix “This site can’t be reached”

1.You right click on Windows Button and you select “Command Prompt(Admin).

Or you press Windows + X, then you click Command Prompt (Admin).

  • ipconfig /release
  • ipconfig /all
  • ipconfig /flushdns
  • ipconfig /renew
  • netsh int ip set dns

Method 4: You run Network Troubleshooter to fix “This site can’t be reached”

1.You press Windows Key + R then you type ncpa.cpl and hit Enter to open Network Connections.

3.You let the Network Troubleshooter run and it will give you the following error message: DHCP is not enabled for “Wireless Network Connection”.
